NEW POLICY PERMITS TRAVEL OUTSAIDE THE U.S. WITH VALID'S DRIVERS LICENSE
-Those with passport applications in progress can travel with other ID travelers that have applied for but are still awaiting passports for this summer will be permitted to use government-issued photo IDS to exit and enter the U.S. under a temporary policy announced Friday on June 8th by the Dept. of Homeland security and the State Dept.
The policy, effective through Sept 30, only involves travelers flying out of the U.S. to destinations in the Bermuda, Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico.
This is designed to temporarily provide "flexibility" to the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, a law that since January requires all airline travelers to possess a valid passport in order to enter and exit the U.S.
FLOWERS by Pamela Hale
Mixing natural textures with a bit of glimmer is in this autumn and winter season. Pods, grasses, and exotic blooms artistically touched with gold or sliver leafing. Swarovski crystals affixed here and there in the flowers, and custom designed wraps for the stems will create an impression never to be forgotten.
Traditional flowers are making a comeback for spring. Roses, stephinotis, sweet pea, ranunculas and hydrangea in soft monochromatic tones, delicately designed with feathery touches and glowing pearls. Satin and lace custom wraps, with long satin tendrils bring the warmth of romance back into the bridal bouquet.
